This page explains how Altomare Immobiliare handles the personal data of people who visit this website or write to us. It is written to be understood: if anything is unclear, ask us and we will explain.
Who handles your data
The data controller is Altomare Immobiliare, VAT number 08861720723, registered at V.le Orazio Flacco, 20, 70124 Bari, Puglia (Italia).

When you visit the site
This site uses no cookies and no browser storage of any kind. There are no third-party services: no Google Analytics, no remote fonts, no social buttons that follow you, no interactive maps. Everything you see comes from this site and nowhere else.
We count visits ourselves, in a log kept on the server. For each visit we record: the page viewed, the language, the type of device (phone, computer, tablet), the language set on the device, and the site you came from, if any. We do not store your IP address. To tell «ten pages viewed by one person» from «ten people» we compute a code that changes every night and cannot identify you the next day, or lead back to you.
We do this to understand which properties and articles are of interest, and to improve the site: this is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Since we identify no one and use no cookies, there is no consent to ask you for.
The hosting provider's server (Aruba S.p.A., in Italy) keeps its own access logs, as any web server does, for security and operational reasons.
When you write to us
The form on the Contact page sends nothing through this website: it opens your device's e-mail app with the message already written, and you send it yourself. The data that reaches us is therefore what is in your e-mail: your name, e-mail address, phone number if you give one, and what you write to us.
We use it for one thing only: to reply to you and follow up your request. The legal basis is your consent and the steps taken at your request prior to any contract (Art. 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(b) GDPR).
We keep messages for as long as needed to reply and handle the matter, and in any case no longer than 24 months from the last contact, unless contractual or tax obligations require us to keep them longer.
If you write to us on WhatsApp or call us, the same rules apply; for WhatsApp the service's own terms also apply, and those are not ours.
Who we share data with
No one, unless it is necessary. We do not sell or pass data to third parties, and we do not use it to profile you or for advertising.
Only those who provide us with essential technical services — our hosting and e-mail provider — may process it on our behalf, as processors. The data stays within the European Union.
Your rights
At any time you may ask us what data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, erase it, restrict its use, give it to you in a readable format, or object to the processing. If you have given consent, you may withdraw it whenever you like: what was done before remains valid, after that we stop.
Just write to info@altomareimmobiliare.it. We reply within one month.
If you believe we are getting it wrong, you may contact the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it).

If we change how we handle data, we change this page too and update the date below. The version you are reading now is the one that applies.
